As OEMs for my 02 Grand Cherokee are nearly all reman’d now and very unlikely for anything local or of good quality first party parts to exist anymore. This is an excellent upgrade and correct fit for my vehicle.currently had it installed over a month. Provides correct amount of amperage above spec of 165 OEM. 250 amps is plenty for my inverter and additional accessories.I also recommend purchasing the alternator plug directly from them, it will be needed for proper connection. and upgrading your battery cables/ harnesses as needed. to handle the extra power to your accessories/ inverters ect.I had communicated with the company and they were prompt with their response and provided honest and helpful feedback.👍 worth the price.[edit: been nearly a year since i purchased. thought it died but turned out a fuse was blown. 150 amps. the fuses did their job. the alternator can definitely supply what is needed. replaced the fuse and had alternator tested. still functioning great 👍.)
